Devighat Hydropower StationDevighat Hydropower Station (TSPH) with an installed capacity of 14.1 MW (3 x4.7 MW) is located at 70 km. north west of Kathmandu on the right bank of Trishuli river which is a tailrace development of Trishuli Hydropower station (THPS).
Devighat Hydropower station was commissioned in the year 1984.The average (Designed) annual generation of this powerhouse is 114 GWh. Devighat Hydropower station has generated 85.615GWh of energy in this fiscal year, an increase of25.755 compared to the last years' generation. The generation from this power station has contributed3.54% of the total energy in the INPS.
Recently, the technical team from the manufacturing company (BHEL, INDIA) has visited the power station for the rehabilitation and upgrading of the power station. They have submitted a report, which has been submitted to NEA Board.
