Trishuli Hydropower Station
Trishuli Hydropower Station is a peaking run of the river type, with an installed capacity of 24 MW. The powerhouse was constructed in two stages, first with three units was commissioned in the year 2024 and the second stage with four units was commissioned in 2027. After successful operation for nearly 24 to 27 years, the powerhouse was rehabilitated and upgraded in the year 2050. With the up gradation of this powerhouse, the installed capacity was increased from 21 to 24 MW. The powerhouse was inundated completely due to the damage in the butterfly valve of unit 1, stopping the generation from the powerhouse completely. After the flood, the powerhouse was again started generation by operating manually after one month. To operate the p[powerhouse in automatic, unit 1, 2 and 3 governor replaced with digital governor and for unit 4, 5, 6 and 7 the digital governors in ordering process.

Trishuli Hydropower Station generated 122.233 GWh of energy in fiscal year 061/62 with an increase of 31.67%. Generation from powerhouse has contributed 5.17% of the total energy in INPS.
